Camp Ernst is Greater Cincinnati’s favorite overnight camp. Our programs (for kids ages 6-15) combine safety, creativity, and good clean fun, and include horseback riding, nature, hiking, archery, fine arts, crafts, swimming, boating, waterslides, high ropes course, sports, leadership activities, spiritual development and so much more.

We strive to promote positive character values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility in young people through the healthy development of spirit, mind, body, and friendship.

E-Team (Rising Juniors In High School)

Eteam Archery

Rising Juniors in High School are eligible to be a part of our E-team Program. E-team members are responsible for running the camp activities under the supervision of their Unit Leader. E-teamers will be assigned to an activity team, which includes the Lifeguard Team, Ropes Team, General Activities Team, and Ranch Team, for their three-week session.

Priority applications for E-team were due October 31. Contact David for information about waiting list and limited openings

Junior Counselor (Rising Seniors in High School)

Rising Seniors in High School are eligible to be a part of our Junior Counselor team. Junior counselors, scheduled for a three-week session, will be assigned to a cabin and under the guidance of their cabin counselor and junior counselor leader, will learn the important skills needed to be a successful camp counselor. Junior Counselor positions include Junior Cabin Counselor, Ranch Junior Counselor, and Junior Counselor Internships.

To be considered in the first round of interviews and employment offers, please complete the steps below by October 31st. Spots are limited.

Rising Freshman in college and older are eligible to be a part of our Cabin Counselor team. Cabin counselors are responsible for leading the cabin group of campers through a successful camp week.

All counselors must be able to commit to Staff Training May 30-June 4, 2020. Priority is given to applicants who can commit to a minimum of four weeks. To be considered in the first round of employment offers, please complete the steps below by December 15th. Spots are limited.

Rising Freshman in College and older are eligible to be a part of our Ranch team. Ranch staff will counsel ranch camp campers and others through a successful camp week and assist in the care and instruction of ranch programs.

All ranch staff must be able to commit to ranch training May 23-28 and staff training May 30-June 4, 2020. To be considered in the first round of employment offers, please complete the steps below by December 15th. Spots are limited.

Leadership Staff (Rising Sophomores In College And Older)

Rising Sophomores in college and older are eligible to apply for a leadership position. Leadership staff are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating various aspects of the camp program and operation. Various Leadership positions are available.

All leadership staff must be able to commit to Lead Week May 23-28 and Staff Training May 30-June 4, 2020. Priority is given to applicants who can commit to all nine camper weeks. To be considered in the first round of employment offers, please complete the steps below by December 15th. Spots are limited.

Support Staff

Counselor Pose

Camp Nurses- Qualified adults are welcome to apply for this seasonal summer position. Week-long, Sunday, and weekend dates are available. Nurses must have a current RN license in the state of KY before the start of their time working at camp.

Camp Cooks- Qualified adults are welcome to apply for this season’s summer position. Morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts available.

Facilities Intern, Housekeeping, and Kitchen Assistants- Sophomores in college or older are welcome to apply. Must be able to attend training starting May 23rd. Click here to learn more about the positions available.
