Payments and Fee Assistance

We are committed to partnering with parents to help all campers grow in spirit, mind, body, and friendship.

Payment Plans

Each camp week is reserved with a deposit of $50. The balance must be paid in full one month (four weeks) prior to your registered camp week.  Log in to your Camp Brain Account or give us a call (859-586-6181) to set up an automated payment plan using automatic payments with MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.

Payments can be broken down and paid on the first business day of each month with camp paid in full at least one month prior to your camper’s arrival.

  • Weeks 1-3: Last automatic payment on May 1
  • Weeks 4-7: Last automatic payment on June 1
  • Week 8-9: Last automatic payment on July 1

Fee Assistance & Fee Reductions

Note: Some Fee Assistance and Fee Reductions may apply only to week-long summer overnight camps; funds may be limited.

Community Service

Complete five hours of community service and receive $25 off your camp fees. You can volunteer up to 20 hours for $100 off.  Only applies to week long programs.  Click here!

Camp Director's Scholarship

Upon completion of 20 hours of community service (see above), Eli awards up to $50 based on your essay response to: “What are your special circumstances that make you in need of an additional scholarship for camp?” Email response to ce@myycamp.org. Funds are limited, first come first served.

Income-Based Sliding Scale Camp Fees

As a mission-driven nonprofit organization, the YMCA is committed to serving everyone in our community. We offer income-based sliding scale camp fees where fee assistance is based on household income. Funds are limited. Fee Assistance may only be granted for one session per person.  For an application, click here.

Tiered Pricing

For Family Camp and Regular Day Camp sessions, we offer a voluntary three-tiered pricing model based on the needs of the family. This program is completely confidential and in no way affects the quality of the camp experience. Price selection is done strictly on an honor system. If you can afford to pay the full fee (Tier 3), please do so. If you cannot, simply select the price which is right for your family’s circumstances. You’ll be given the option to choose your rate during the registration process.

  • Tier 1 is a subsidized rate, funded by donations to the greatest extent possible, and provided for families whose children would not otherwise be able to attend camp.
  • Tier 2 reflects the basic cost of attending camp including food, staff, program supplies and limited maintenance expenses.
  • Tier 3 represents the actual cost of camp operations, including long-term wear, tear and depreciation. If you are able to pay this rate, please do so.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are fully-refundable until March 15. After March 15, deposits become non-refundable. Between March 15 and four weeks before the session begins, anything beyond the deposit amount can still be refunded. At the four-week-prior mark, all camp fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations must be made in writing, emailed to ce@myycamp.org.

Session switches can be made at any time, pending availability, by emailing ce@myycamp.org or calling 859-586-6181.

We are grateful for all of our camp families and their trust and loyalty over many years. If you have to cancel and request a refund due to your family’s COVID-19-related circumstances, please let us know. We understand and hope you will consider joining us again in the future!
