Camp Fees Explanation and Assistance
We know costs are rising everywhere, and camp is no different.
Please do not let the cost of camp prevent your child from growing in spirit, mind, body, and friendship at camp! Thanks to the continuous generous support of our donors who contribute over $350,000 every year, we are able to offer fee assistance to help offset the cost of camp for anyone who needs it.
Note: Some Fee Assistance and Fee Reductions may apply only to week-long summer overnight camps; funds may be limited.
Income-Based Sliding Scale Camp Fees/Scholarship
As a mission-driven nonprofit organization, the YMCA is committed to serving everyone in our community. We offer income-based sliding scale camp fees where fee assistance is based on household income. Funds are limited. Fee Assistance/Scholarships may only be granted for one session of overnight and/or day camp per person.
Summer 2026 fee assistance applications ARE OPEN October 1, 2025 – April 15, 2026. To apply, log in to your CAMP BRAIN account and navigate to 2026 Summer, then select the FEE ASSISTANCE option in the menu of sessions. We’ll reply to your application within two weeks with an offer of fee assistance and then you can register for the camp session of your choice.
Community Service Exchange Program
Campers can earn fee reductions (to be applied to a full week of camp) by completing community service anywhere outside their own homes or families! Service must be done by the campers, themselves. Campers record service in five hour increments, with $50 off for each five hours served, up to a total of $200. Funds are limited. The deadline to apply is April 15 or when funds run out, whichever comes first.

Option Pricing
For Family Camp and Regular Day Camp sessions, we offer a voluntary three-tiered pricing model based on the needs of the family. This program is completely confidential and in no way affects the quality of the camp experience. Price selection is done strictly on an honor system. If you can afford to pay the full fee (Option 3), please do so. If you cannot, simply select the price which is right for your family’s circumstances. You’ll be given the option to choose your rate during the registration process.
- Option 1 is a subsidized rate, funded by donations to the greatest extent possible, and provided for families whose children would not otherwise be able to attend camp.
- Option 2 reflects the basic cost of attending camp including staff, program supplies and limited maintenance expenses.
- Option 3 represents the actual cost of camp operations, including long-term wear, tear and depreciation. If you are able to pay this rate, please do so.
