Why Work At Camp?

Working at camp offers invaluable skill-building, training, and enrichment opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else!

When you work at camp, you have the opportunity to

  • Live, play, and work in the great outdoors.
  • Become a child’s hero.
  • Make new friends from all over — even from other countries.
  • Learn skills you won’t get in a classroom or any other job in the same timeframe, like teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving, creativity, perseverance, and a strong work ethic

Regardless of your career path, camp experiences allow you to learn and develop skills that will benefit you in any future endeavor.

Our programs (for kids ages 5-15) combine safety, creativity, and good clean fun.  Whether you’re a returning staff member or new to the world of summer camp, you’ll make unforgettable friendships and memories, connect with nature, and have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.  We think it’s one of the best jobs you can have.

What are the Session Dates?

We understand that spending a whole summer at camp is a big time commitment.  When you apply to work at camp, you will be able to select the sessions that work with your schedule, so you can enjoy time at camp and be able to attend other commitments throughout the summer.

We ask cabin counselors commit to our staff training week plus a minimum of four camper weeks.  We encourage leadership and program staff to commit to the whole summer, but some positions have flexibility in the scheduling.  Staff go home Saturday mornings and come back Sunday afternoons of each session they’re scheduled for.
