Pick up Logistics

Dear Parents,

We have had a great week with your kids…before you know it they’ll be home. Please see my important note at the bottom about the COVID/illness situation!

If you would like to honor your child’s camp counselors, a great way to do that is through a gift to our camper scholarship fund.

Regarding LOST AND FOUND:  If you want to see what’s been found and not “reunited” with its owner, during check out the Lost and Found will be located in each area’s dining hall. If you discover that your child is missing something once you return home, please use our Lost and Found form on our web site. Please understand that there is a good possibility that it could take a few days or even a couple weeks for lost and found to find its way back to the Welcome Center. And due to logistics and storage, we cannot save everything! Thanks for your patience.

Thank you so much for choosing YMCA Camp Ernst and we look forward to having your children back for many summers to come! Registration for 2023 will be open by October 1!

Sincerely,

Eli

P.S.

Parents – I have emailed the cabin groups that have had a positive COVID test this week (and individuals with positive tests have gone home). I have also been in constant communication with our camp physician, Chris Cunha, MD. As is reflected in the broader community, COVID is very common right now and we are continuing to see positive cases at camp this morning. Campers who are feeling well are still participating and having fun, but I understand if you’d like to cut your child’s session short! If you would like to arrange for an early pickup for your camper, please let us know and we can facilitate: Thurs 2pm, Thurs 6pm, Friday at 9am/2pm.
