Leadership Staff

LEADERSHIP STAFF (RISING SOPHOMORES IN COLLEGE AND OLDER)

Rising Sophomores in college and older are eligible to apply for a leadership positionLeadership staff are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating various aspects of the camp program and operation.  Various Leadership postions are available.

All leadership staff must be able to commit to Lead Week May 26-31 and Staff Training June 2-7, 2018.  Priority is given to applicants who can commit to all nine camper weeks.   To be considered in the first round of employment offers, please complete the steps below by December 31st.  Spots are limited. 

TO APPLY:

  1. Read about our team and available positions.
  1. Complete an application with the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati; Go to http://myy.org/work-at-the-Y, find YMCA Camp Ernst, select Resident Camp Counselor, and complete the application.
  1. Complete a camp-specific application; Go to myycamp.campbrainstaff.com.  Returning staff should use the log in information created in 2017.  New applicants, please create a new account.
  1. Submit one of the following items to complete your application to [email protected]
  • A lesson plan for a new evening program  (1 hour in length, unit/age group of your choice, uses the theme of Birthday, Alien Invasion, or International )
  • A  lesson plan for a new choice activity (1 hour, unit/age group of your choice)
